This Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST) funded project makes available to all Australian states and territories curriculum materials for the first three years of High School comprising a Student Workbook “Practical Astronomy for Years 7,8 & 9: Using online telescopes in Australian science classrooms”, a Teachers’ Guide, a CD-ROM of resource material, this web site and access to the Charles Sturt University Remote Telescope through this web site.

The project is accompanied by a research programme designed to examine students’ attitudes towards science and their knowledge of certain aspects of astronomy.
